Velux Loft Conversion

A Velux conversion is one that uses roof-lights installed into the pitch of a roof to give natural light and ventilation. The new room/s are contained within the existing roof space, therefore, no alterations are made to the existing roof profile.

Velux roof-lights not only look good but they quite literally transform an internal environment by breathing light and life into your home while creating a stylish, vibrant living space.

While Velux roof-lights always look good on their own, they look even better when combined together.

With this type of conversion, we make no external alterations to the existing roof profile, therefore you do not normally require planning permission.

There is a minimum height requirement for this type of conversion – in some properties the existing standing room can be limited. Get help with measuring your loft space height here.  As long as your existing loft has sufficient height, a Velux loft conversion is suitable for almost all properties including Terraced Houses, Semi-detached, Detached Houses and Bungalows.
